Surf instructors
Aloha! I’m Zeke, a 19-year-old surfer born and raised in Hawaii. I’ve been riding waves since I could walk, competing in surf contests during grade school and playing water polo for six years. Now, I call Newport Beach home and spend my time teaching others to surf.
My favorite spot? The Wedge. This place is legendary for its massive, unpredictable waves that can reach up to 30 feet, created by the interaction between incoming swell and the rock jetty. As a surf instructor, my mottos are safety and communication. I believe that a safe surfer is a confident surfer, and clear communication is key to ensuring that everyone in the water understands and respects each others presence
